The baggage delay cover helps if your checked-in baggage is held up or temporarily lost on your way when you leave the UK. It does NOT apply on your return journey home. It has two parts: Baggage Delay for delays over 4 hours, and Extended Baggage Delay for delays over 48 hours.
Important information:
- The cover applies to anyone named under the insurance policy traveling with you on the same trip.
- We will only pay for costs that exceed any compensation you receive from the carrier.
- Contact Zurich Assist if you need urgent assistance.
- Always fill in the online claim form as soon as possible if your baggage is accidentally lost, stolen or damaged during your trip.
