Important information
All of the benefits above may also apply to family members if you hold a Monzo Premium or a Monzo Max Family plan.

How can I file a claim?
The most straightforward method to submit your travel insurance claim is by filling out the online claim form accessible in your Monzo app:
1. Open your Monzo app.
2. Go to the insurance section.
3. Tap 'File a claim' to start the process.
If you're having trouble accessing the app, you can also submit a claim online via monzo.qover.com.
NB. Claims received via any other channel than the insurance claim form (e.g. by sending an email) will not be considered.
Is there a part of the claim I have to pay myself?
An excess of £50 is applied to most of the offered coverages, with the exception of the following coverages:
- Section 2 – Delayed Departure
- Section 3 – Missed Departure
- Section 8 – Hospital Benefit
- Section 9 – Personal Liability
- Section 10 – Personal Accident
- Section 12 - Hijack
- Section 14 - Hire Car Excess.

For medical emergencies, please call Zurich Assist for help. Then, always fill out the in-app or online claim form to submit a claim—even if you’re not sure whether it’s covered. That way, we can keep a clear record and take a closer look at your situation. Just remember to keep any relevant receipts or official documents, like a police report in case of theft, to help support your claim.
